I kiss my dog in the mouth because, he's my dog and I Love him. I know exactly where his mouth has been and a dog's mouth is always cleaner than a humans right ?
Because he is my dog, Im the one who feeds him, cares for him, and loves him. If my dog can lick me in my face I can kiss him in the mouth. A dog's mouth is cleaner than a humans right?

I am VERY close with my dog. He's my pillow. We workout and run together. He follows me around the house all the time. I don't put my mouth up to him, but if he licks my mouth I don't freak out. He usually licks my face at 6am to wake me up, so I'm used to it.
For my dog, its one of the skills I credit her with having. I say, "Give me a kiss," and she will do so on the mouth. I consider her to be my child in a way. To me it is not weird
I kiss my dog on the mouth because dogs are very touch sensitive thus why they like petting. If a dog likes you and respects you they will lick you so you must do the same back to them to show that you love and respect them.
I kiss my dog because I love her more than I love most people in my life. I just get an overwhelming sense of love and affection when I see her and have to hug and kiss her.
