Sarcasm is like a second language to me. It is an easy way to not make people feel uncomortable. I usually do not use a great deal of sarcasm with people I just meet because a lot of times they do not know that I am joking.
Sarcasm is just my sense of humor. I don't ever mean it to offend or insult anyone, but it's just the way I express myself. I think the friends and people who hang out with help determine the kind of humor you use and in my case, I have very sarcastic friends, thus I my sarcasm is often accentuated.
I don't exactly know why I use sarcasm sometimes. I use it as humor, but sometimes as ironic or sharp comments. I try to control myself because some people don't like it or take it personally.
This is a good question. I use sarcasm when I am being a smart mouth to someone. It is more of a joking matter than a serious matter. I find sarcasm to be very funny.
Sarcasm is almost just another way of speaking to people. It's usually reserved for close friends that know your personality well enough to know that you aren't being serious or hurtful in the things that you say. It can also lighten the mood.
I use sarcasm to either joke around with friends or to make fun of people without them truly knowing I am. It's mean but it is so I don't hurt their feelings
I use sarcasm as a form of humor to poke fun at situations that annoy me. My sarcastic side comes out most frequently when I see obnoxious commercials on television.
I use scarcasm to make jokes over peoples heads. I enjoy being able to see them not understand what is really going on and not knowing if I am being serious or not.
I enjoy using sarcasm when being funny or trying to make a point that I feel would not be received the way it should by just saying something straight forward. I also try not to ever be rude with sarcasm or take it too far. I usually do it to joke with people as well as make points.
Sarcasm is one of my little quirks. It's an easy way to communicate with people. Though sometimes it may come across rude, it's one of those things that has to be known how to be taken.
Sarcasm is something that I have been accustomed to my entire life. It is not a rude or disrespectful thing in my life, it is more of a form of humor. If someone gets offended by my sarcasm it confuses me. I do not mean it to hurt someone. It is simply a way of giving someone a hard time. Daniel S.
I use sarcasm because it's the way I was taught to communicate. My father is extremely sarcastic and finds his humor in sarcasm, so growing up sarcasm was simply how I learned to communicate. It is also a good way to learn how to not take everything personally.
I use sarcasm because i was raised in a sarcastic family. Sarcasm is a funny and light way to move a conversation forward. On occasion i will offend someone because i won't filter my sarcasm, but most people find it funny.
I just love sarcasm. I endeavor to never use sarcasm directly to a person with whom I'm angry because I realize that it can be hurtful. I do also take into consideration who I'm speaking with before I decide to make a clever, cutting comment.
I use sarcasm because it is a natural response. When somebody says something, I usually both think and say a sarcastic remark, a tendency that gets me labeled as a "smart ass" by people.
I use sarcasm to be funny or lighten the mood. Sometimes when someone is upset or stressed I respond to them in a sarcastic manner just to try to make them smile. I do not do it to be mean, I do it to try to help others laugh.
Sarcasm is my way of making people laugh and turning bad moods into good. My friends always know when I'm being sarcastic, but if a person doesn't know me, they might take my sense of humor, offensively.
I use sarcasm because I feel like it brings humor to a situation. Humor is something that i think brings people joy and by using sarcasm I can make people laugh. However, it gets bad when people take my sarcasm the wrong way. Although I enjoy using sarcasm I am not very good at picking up on the sarcasm being used in situations towards me.
I am sarcastic 24/7. It started as a way to connect with some of the "popular" kids at my school and when I noticed that I could make people laugh with it, I started doing it more. I get irritated with stupidity very easily so I usually will make a sarcastic comment or two whenever I'm around people who try to sound smart but just aren't. It's also a coping method for me. When people say something that really offends me, I usually don't call them out on it because I"m not a confrontational person, but I'll say something sarcastic so they know to back off.
I use sarcasm as a form of playing around and seeing the humour in a situation. I make sure to only use sarcasm around people that will understand it as such and never in writing to prevent misunderstandings.
I use sarcasm as a way to break the ice with people. I am a very sarcastic person and a lot of people find me funny for that reason. So I am a big fan of sarcasm used in the correct manner.
I grew up in a very sarcastic, blunt family. It was my first language and thus, how I naturally communicate. I don't think about it when I do it. When I try not to be sarcastic, I often find myself at a complete loss for words.
Sarcasm is my main source of relieving tension/humor. I am extremely sarcastic, as are most of my friends, and I find this type of humor very entertaining.
