It's just like going to the game. I am in love with competition. Whether I am there or not, I will still yell because I love the competition in a sport.

Because part of my heart soul is connected to Tennessee football, and I love the competition and physicality of the sport.

I get very caught up in the moment when I watch sports. Especially sports that I have played and that I am good at. I yell because its very easy for me to see the big picture on TV, but forget that in the moment, the athlete has a multitude of things going through their head at once. Watching and doing are two very different things.

Watching a game on TV is like being at the game itself. I will yell because I love getting into the mindset of competition and will cheer my team on

I emotionally invest myself into certain teams, and games can become stressful if you are too invested. I get so consumed in the game that I feel like I am actually there watching the game. Also, when tension is high I think that it is easier to let emotions take over and conversations become unfiltered. This applies to this example, as well.

When I watch a soccer game, especially my favorite team Barcelona, I always yell at the TV if there is an unfair call by the referee, because based on how the game goes, it will affect my whole day. If they win, I will be happy and pleased during the whole day, but when I lose, I always feel angry and always try to make excuses about the referee doing bad calls.
I also like to watch a game of my least favorite team Real Madrid, if they are playing against some team, I always cheer for an opposing team and I also always yell at the TV if they are not playing well since I always want Real Madrid to lose.

I would say I yell at the TV while I watch sports because I am dedicated to the team. Me watching the game is my way of supporting them, and me yelling at the TV is my way of cheering them on. It is kind of like being at the game for me. If I was at the game I would be yelling for them, so I might as well do that while at home too.

I feel the need to express my emotions. I don’t like to hold in my feelings toward the game. When I yell, I feel like I’m making a difference in the game.

I am a very competitive person and not being able to control the game is nerve racking. The only think you do is watch and predict the outcome, but until then it is exciting to really get involved with the game and be a part of the emotional distress.

I get very passionate about the teams I support. I do not yell at the TV when I am just watching any game. However, if I am watching a team I really care about then I can get worked up. I want my team to win so badly I feel like I am at the game. I especially get worked up when I know someone on the team I am supporting. It almost feels personal. Not to mention, I think it is fun to have a group of people who are passionate about a sport and the teams involved. It makes getting together to watch a game on TV a thrilling experience.

I yell because I get really excited and just forget about my surroundings and even though I know they can't hear me I still yell because it just tends to release some stress.

When one of my favorite teams is playing, I get very invested into the game myself. I tend to raise my voice when they make a good or bad play, regardless where I am or who is around.

Sometime you can get over passionate about what happening ion the tv but sitting in your living room are unable to do anything about it so all you can do is yell as if the people on the tv can hear you.

I yell at the TV when I'm watching sports because sometimes there are some things that piss me off while watching. And I yell to get my point across as if they can hear me but I know that they can't.

Mainly I yell at the tv during sporting events because the games are exciting and your emotions are running high that you forget where you are or that what you are watching isn't live. I also yell because I believe deep down that my yelling has some sort of impact on the game even though it doesn't.

I do this because either my team is winning and doing great or they're doing awful and messing up.
