Growing up my mother taught me that the rules about hats are different for girls and women. We aren't required to take our hats off during the pledge or while being inside. Even women wear hats in church sometimes. But the rule may be different if the hat is a baseball cap.
I wear hats inside a lot because normally, whenever I wear a hat it is in order to cover up my unwashed hair. Wearing a hat is a rare occasion for me, but they come in handy when I haven't had the chance to go through the long process of doing my hair. I always hate going into Chapel during these days at school because we have to take off our hats and it is never good.
I wear my hat inside to keep my fluffy hair under control. I will take it off to eat and when I am in church because I was raised a southern boy with manners.
I have only worn my hat inside when it is appropriate because they are a huge part of my sense of style. I always remove my hat during class, church or saying the pledge out of respect.

This is the 21st century. There are few places hats should not be allowed such as churches.
Inside...where? I wear my hat inside all the time, in my house, at parties, fast food restaurants, etc.... What was the problem again?

I wear hats inside when I'm not satisfied with the way my hair looks that day.
Wearing hats indoors in my opinion is something that has faded with culture. I wear mine indoors because i don't think to take it off honestly.
